I popped in here for a drink the other day, great fit out, stylish but not ponsy. Staff very friendly and efficient. The Esplanade is really getting good, I reckon it will overtake the Roslyn cafe scene once the latest developments are finished. Especially in summer.

Salt is great, the food along with the service was really awesome when we dined. 10 points to the manager for creating a great, relaxed atmosphere which is classy at the same time.

went there for a coffee, service was unfriendly to be honest. had to repeat my order a couple of times as the guy just was not interested. but i have not eaten there yet, will go back to try. hope the service will be better dining in. great spot and i do like the fitout.

very good food, service okay, very much recommended if you looking for good food a nice set up, not to posh, good for all occasions, has a nice kids menu too

I'm a fan of Salt, the food is great and so is the decor. I wonder if they have considered opening early for breakfast? The first place in St Clair that does so will make a killing I'm sure. All those people running and swimming early in the morning and afterwards they have to go straight home because there's nowhere to get a coffee. My love affair with the esplanade would be complete if someone took the initiative and did this.

After recently finishing studying for the year a couple of friends and I decided to have lunch here on Saturday. Have to say the food was great, service was good, trackside... what more could one ask???? Well done.
